Yan Han (born March 6, 1996) is a Chinese male figure skater. He is a two-time (2010, 2011) Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, winner of five Junior Grand Prix events and a two-time Chinese national champion.

Career

Yan started skating at the age of 5, and there was no other athlete in his family. He trains mainly in Harbin, but attends training camps in Beijing as well.[4]

2009-2010 season

Yan made his ISU Junior Grand Prix debut in the 2009-2010 season. He won gold at the 2009–2010 ISU Junior Grand Prix event in Turkey. This was his only assignment that season.

2010-2011 season

Yan was assigned to the 2010–2011 ISU Junior Grand Prix events in Austria and Czech Republic. After winning in his two JGP events, Yan qualified for the 2010–2011 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, which was held in Beijing, China. Yan took the silver medal in his country. He ended the season by placing 6th in his debut at the 2011 World Junior Figure Skating Championships in Korea.

2011-2012 season

This season, Yan has included a triple axel and a quad toe loop jump into his programs. After striking gold in his two JGP events in Austria and Italy, Yan qualifies for the 2011–2012 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, which will be held in Quebec City, Canada.
